Q: Are you open all year?
A: Yes, except 24th, 25th, 26th December.

Q: How far are you from Inverness town centre?
A: Just 10 minutes walk.

Q: How far are you from the Airport?
A: 8 miles. Taxis and buses are readily available. Taxi fare from airport to Ballifeary House is approximately £10.

Q: How far are you from the railway station?
A: About 15 to 20 minutes walk. Taxis readily available. Fare approximately £2.

Q: How far are you from the bus station?
A: About 15 to 20 minutes walk. Taxis readily available. Fare approximately £2.

Q: How far are you from Eden Court Theatre?
A: Just a five minute walk to the theatre.

Q: Do you have a restaurant?
A: No, but there are excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel, just a 10 minute walk. Most small establishments like ourselves no longer provide dinner as there is such a large choice of restaurants in the town offering both traditional and international fare.

Q: What time is earliest check-in?
A: 7.30 am. The rooms are not usually ready until 2.00 pm but you are welcome to arrive and leave your luggage and use our sitting room and rest room.

Q: What time is latest check-in?
A: 10.00 pm. Please let us know if you are arriving late.

Q: What time is Breakfast served?
A: Full Scottish Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8 am to 9 am. Should you require breakfast earlier than this we can provide a continental style breakfast in the dining room.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: In the event of cancellation, Less than 4 weeks notice 50% of total cost of payable. Less than 2 weeks 100% payable, only if we fail to re-let the room. £10.00 administration cost charged to all cancellations

Q: Where is the nearest launderette?
A: There is a launderette just 7 minutes walking distance from the hotel. You have the choice of either doing the washing yourself or paying a little extra for one of their staff to do it for you.

Q: Do you have a liquor licence?
A: No but guests are free to consume their own alcohol in the sitting room.

Q: Is it quiet at Ballifeary House?
A: Yes. Ballifeary Road is in a very nice quiet residential area. With only a maximum of 10 guests and no children the atmosphere is relaxed and restful.

Q: Are you totally no-smoking at Ballifeary House?
A: Yes. There is nowhere in the hotel where you can smoke.

Q: Do we have access to the hotel at all times?
A: Yes. We give you keys for both your room and the house so you can come and go just like home. All we ask is that, if you are returning late, you consider other guests who may be sleeping.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Delta, JCB & Switch.

Q: Do you allow pets to stay in the hotel?
A: No. For health reasons pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Q: Do you have off street parking?
A: Yes, we have a large car park within the grounds which is able to accept all guests cars comfortably.
